In cooperation with the renowned Italian wax manufacturer MAPLUS Mazza SpA, we are organizing an exclusive professional ski preparation seminar intended for coaches, racers, ski technicians, and all skiers who want to take their ski preparation knowledge and performance to the next level.

During the seminar, you will learn about the techniques and products used in the World Cup circuit and gain valuable practical knowledge for proper ski preparation in various snow and weather conditions. Special emphasis will be placed on race ski preparation – the RACE PROGRAM – where even the smallest details determine speed, glide, and final results.

The event will be organized in the form of two parallel workshops:

• ALPINE skiing
• NORDIC skiing

Participants will be able to follow practical demonstrations of ski preparation, the use of various waxes and World Cup products, and receive expert advice directly from top MAPLUS specialists.

For ALPINE SKIING

• Angelo Del Panno

Angelo Del Panno (GELO) is a well-known name in the Alpine Ski World Cup circuit. He regularly collaborates with national teams and ski technicians from various countries and is actively involved in the testing and development of new MAPLUS products. His expertise is based on many years of practical experience at the highest level of competitive skiing, where hundredths of a second make the difference.

For NORDIC SKIING

• Angelino Carrara

Angelino Carrara has been one of the key figures at MAPLUS for more than 30 years. A former top-level biathlon athlete, Olympic participant, national instructor, and coach, he now coordinates the development of MAPLUS products for Nordic skiing. Thanks to his extensive knowledge and decades of experience, he is considered one of the most respected experts in cross-country ski preparation.

SEMINAR PROGRAM

1. Presentation of the complete MAPLUS wax program

Presentation of the entire MAPLUS product range – from basic base waxes to the top-level World Cup program.

Additionally, for cycling enthusiasts, the new MAPLUS BIKE collection will also be presented:

• chain and frame cleaners,
• chain lubricants,
• protective products for bicycle frames.

2. Practical ski preparation demonstration

Demonstration of proper base preparation and the use of different waxing and ski treatment technologies.

3. Use of World Cup products

Presentation and application of racing WC products for achieving maximum glide and speed.

4. Wax selection according to conditions

Correct selection and use of waxes according to:

• temperature,
• type of snow,
• humidity,
• weather conditions,
• skiing discipline.

5. Discussion and individual consultation

Opportunity for questions, exchange of experiences, and individual advice directly from MAPLUS experts.

6. BBQ socializing

After the seminar, a relaxed BBQ gathering will follow, intended for networking, sharing experiences, and enjoying a pleasant end to the day.
