Why Use a Base Wax Like Maplus Arctic Base Liquid?

• Ski bases are vulnerable to damage, especially in harsh, cold conditions. Using a base wax:
• Protects the base from abrasion and dryness
• Improves wax absorption, allowing top layers to bond better
• Extends the durability of your waxing layers

When and How to Apply

• Apply Maplus Arctic Base Liquid as the first layer in your waxing routine, before adding performance or fluor-free top coats.

Application steps:

• Clean your skis – Remove old wax and dirt from the base using a base cleaner.
• Shake the bottle well before use.
• Apply a thin, even layer of the liquid base wax along the entire glide zone.
• Let it dry for at least 15–30 minutes (depending on temperature and humidity).
• Brush and polish with a soft nylon brush to smooth the surface.
• Continue with top-layer waxing, if needed (e.g. race wax, universal wax, etc.).
